I have spent most of my working life in travel, having talked my way into an interview with ILG way back in the late 80s, and haven’t looked back. With 30 years spent in B2C, I’ve seen many changes in the industry, from unpackaging the package holiday right back to putting it all together again. There have also been huge changes in processes, innovation and technology, meaning how we market and sell is so much more flexible.

I joined Albatross Travel in May 2018 and became a B2B convert, enjoying the different approach, language and route to market. Having amassed much experience in print production, design and marketing, it’s great to be able to feel like I’m making a difference, bringing ideas and teams together and within the Albatross Group, we have a fantastic array of brands which I love getting involved in. Magari Tours is the newest, and it has been a wonderful experience talking to Tony, understanding his vision and pulling the brand together, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the result so far. I wish (see what I did there) I had time to get out and try the new tours, maybe one day.

Away from work, I am a keen golfer and enjoy walking when not chasing a small white ball! Luckily my partner likes the same, and we also enjoy camping for the freedom and relaxation. When I can, I also like to practice Yoga or Pilates, so it’s handy having Success Retreats within the group, I can pick up tips when I do their marketing!
